What Bar-X Safecracker Megaways Brings To The Reels
Blueprint Gaming's jewel-heist Megaways pokie pairs a reel format that shifts every spin with confirmed high volatility and a bonus buy. Here's what actually changes before it joins a Here2Win session.
Blueprint Gaming's Jewel-Heist Setting
Bar-X Safecracker Megaways drops its jewel theme straight into a heist scene: safes, gems and lock-and-key symbols carry the reels for Blueprint Gaming, the studio behind this title. I like that it doesn't try to be a bright fruit machine dressed up differently — the jewel styling stays consistent from the base game through to the feature, which matters more than it sounds once you're a few sessions in and want a pokie that still feels distinct.
What Megaways Actually Changes Each Spin
The Megaways format behind this pokie is a dynamic reel modifier: reel height and the number of ways to win can shift from one spin to the next, so the board you're looking at rarely stays fixed for long. Big Time Gaming, which licenses the mechanic to studios including Blueprint Gaming, explains how the Megaways format works in more technical detail than I need to repeat here. Practically, it means the win potential on any given spin depends on how tall the reels happen to land, which is part of why this sits in the high-variance bracket rather than the steadier end of the lineup.
High Volatility And A 95.5% RTP
Bar-X Safecracker Megaways carries a confirmed 95.5% RTP and high volatility. That RTP sits a touch under the 96.05% median across the pokies I've reviewed on this site, so it's not the strongest long-run number on offer — a fair trade-off if the shifting Megaways board and the bigger, more irregular swings of high volatility are what you're after, but worth knowing before you set a session budget. High volatility here means longer stretches without a return balanced against the chance of a sharper one, not a guarantee either way.

Bonus Buy Explained For Bar-X Safecracker Megaways
This pokie carries a bonus buy option, meaning you can pay upfront to jump straight into the feature round instead of waiting for it to land through ordinary spins. That convenience comes at a real cost to your session budget, since a bonus buy spends a chunk of bankroll in one move rather than spreading it across regular spins — worth planning for before you tap it. If you're clearing wagering from the Bonus package while you play, check that offer's terms before using a bonus buy, since I can't confirm here whether it counts the same way toward turnover as a standard spin.
How It Sits Next To 10001 Nights In High-Variance Pokies
Next to 10001 Nights, another confirmed high-volatility pick but from Red Tiger Gaming and built on an Arabian Nights legend rather than a jewel heist, Bar-X Safecracker Megaways stands out for having the bonus buy option that 10001 Nights doesn't carry, plus the shifting Megaways board on top. If you want the fuller run-down of how it stacks against the rest of the Here2Win Casino best slots, that hub lines up all seven side by side. Before adding any of them to a real-money session, it's worth checking the operator background on Reviews so you know exactly who's running Here2Win and under which licence.
